Located in the Ukranian Village neighborhood of Chicago, this kitchen was designed, built and installed for a local Restaurateur. The kitchen is of traditional style and made of Solid Cherry Wood Raised Panel Doors. The customer wanted to have a “Grand Island” in which we installed large decorative legs. We also installed large Corbels and Decorative Posts around the island. (Featured in “Signature Kitchen & Bath” Magazine, Summer 2010, page 34-35)
A custom home builder in Naperville had consigned us to custom build his kitchen and bathroom cabinets for his entire house. The kitchen is highlighted here with Pamela Style Raised Panel Doors with an Antique White Finish and a Mocha Glaze. Also, we distressed his island cabinets which are Maple Stained Walnut. The Kitchen has many extras such as Custom Crown Molding, Decorative Turned Legs and Large Decorative Corbels on the Island..(Featured in “Kitchen Trends” Magazine, Volume 25 #7.) This particular Custom Kitchen was designed, built and installed for a Chicago Homeowner that lives in the Bucktown neighborhood. It is made of Rift Oak with the grain running Horizontally. The kitchen has many modern conveniences such as an appliance garage, waste basket pullouts and Blumotion Drawer Tracks that are full extension, undermounted and with a soft close feature. Best Cabinets owns 100 acres of wooded property in Wisconsin which allows us to carefully select trees for lumber used in our custom cabinet shop. Once our lumber has been sawn it is air dried for a precise period of time and then moved into a dehumidifier kiln and dried to approximately 6-8% humidity which is the optimum moisture content for cabinet making Best Cabinets also manufactures our own solid wood doors and solid wood dovetail drawers in order the maintain the best quality and lead times. Each piece of custom furniture and custom cabinetry built is made to order, one at a time by our professional staff. Best Cabinets products are available to Illinois and the World.
